Spain's Pollen Seasons
In Spain, tree pollen season typically starts in February and March, with olive and cypress trees releasing pollen. Oak and beech trees follow in April and May.
Grass pollen season usually begins in May and June, with peak levels in late spring. This affects many people with pollen allergies.
Weed pollen, from plants like ragweed and plantain, appears in late summer and autumn, from August to October.
Peak pollen times vary by region, but generally occur in spring (March-May). The Mediterranean region and areas with olive groves tend to have higher pollen levels.
