Tarifa, Spain has different pollen seasons. Trees, grasses, and weeds produce pollen. Pollen counts are high in spring. March and April are the worst months for tree pollen.

Grasses produce pollen in late spring and early summer. May and June are peak months. Pollen counts are usually lower near the sea. Sea breezes help clear the air.

Weeds produce pollen in late summer and autumn. August and September are peak months. Olive trees, common in Tarifa, produce pollen in autumn. October and November are busy months.

Winter months have low pollen counts. Some trees, like almond and orange, produce pollen in winter. January and February have some tree pollen, but it's not very much.
