Pollen allergies affect many people in Santander, Spain. Trees, grasses, and weeds release pollen into the air, causing symptoms like congestion, sneezing, and itchy eyes.

Grasses release pollen from May to July, causing allergy symptoms to peak. Weeds like ragweed and sagebrush add to the pollen count from July to October.
