Getxo, Spain has four main pollen seasons. They happen at different times of the year. Each season brings pollen from different plants.

The first season is in the winter, from December to February. During this time, pollen comes from olive trees. These trees are common in Getxo.

In the spring, from March to May, pollen comes from birch and hazelnut trees. These trees bloom and release their pollen into the air.

Summer is the worst time for pollen in Getxo. From June to August, grasses release their pollen. This makes the air fill with pollen.
