Pollen count in Getxo

Here is the text:

Pollen allergies are a common problem in Getxo, Spain. They happen when the body reacts to tiny particles in the air from plants. This causes symptoms like sneezing, itching, and congestion.

Getxo has two main pollen seasons. The first is in the spring, from March to May, when trees release their pollen. This is usually the worst time for allergy sufferers.

The second pollen season is in the summer, from June to August, when grasses and weeds release their pollen. This is a less intense period but still causes discomfort.

People with pollen allergies should stay indoors on windy days and avoid outdoor activities during peak pollen hours, usually between 5am and 10am. They should also keep windows closed.
