In Alicante, Spain, there are four pollen seasons. The first one is from December to February. This is when olive trees release their pollen. It's a lot of pollen!

From March to May, it's the turn of pine trees. They release their pollen into the air. This pollen is very small and can travel far.

In June and July, grasses release their pollen. This pollen is heavy and doesn't travel far. It falls to the ground quickly.

The last pollen season is in September and October. This is when weed plants release their pollen. They grow everywhere, even in cracks in the pavement!
