Germany's Pollen Seasons

In Germany, tree pollen season starts in February. Alder and hazel trees release pollen first, followed by beech and oak trees in March and April.

Grass pollen season begins in May. It usually peaks in June. Grass pollen is a major allergen and can travel far.

Weed pollen, especially from ragweed, appears in July. It continues into September. Some weeds, like mugwort, release pollen in August.

Peak pollen times vary by region, but generally, southern Germany has higher pollen counts. Peak times usually occur early morning and late afternoon.
