Portugal's Pollen Seasons

In Portugal, tree pollen season starts in February, with oak, olive, and cypress trees releasing pollen. Peak tree pollen is usually in March and April.

Grass pollen season begins in May and lasts until July, with peak pollen in June. This affects many people with pollen allergies.

Weed pollen, from plants like ragweed and nettle, appears in late summer and autumn, from August to October.

Peak pollen times are usually early morning. Regions with more trees, like northern Portugal, may have higher pollen levels than southern regions.
