Sorbas, Spain has four pollen seasons. They happen at different times of the year. Each season brings pollen from different plants.
The first season starts in January. It's when the olive trees pollinate. Olive pollen is very common in Sorbas. Many trees produce a lot of pollen.
In February, the pine trees start pollinating. Pine pollen is also very common. It mixes with olive pollen in the air.
The last two seasons happen in the summer. In June, the grasses pollinate. In July, the weeds pollinate. During these seasons, pollen counts are usually lower than in winter.
