Latvia's Pollen Seasons
In Latvia, tree pollen season starts in March, with birch and alder pollen appearing first. Oak and beech pollen follow in April and May.
Grass pollen season begins in May and lasts until July, with peak pollen release usually occurring in June.
Weed pollen, mainly from mugwort and ragweed, appears in July and August.
Peak pollen times vary by region, but generally, western Latvia experiences higher pollen counts due to stronger winds from the Baltic Sea.
