In Xerokampos, Greece, there are three main pollen seasons. The first one starts in February and lasts until April. This is when trees like olive and cypress release their pollen.
From May to July, grasses and weeds release their pollen. This is the second pollen season. It's a busy time for plants, and the air is filled with tiny pollen grains.
The third pollen season is from August to October. This is when plants like sagebrush and wormwood release their pollen. It's a bit quieter than the other seasons, but still important for the plants.
During pollen seasons, it's a good idea to stay indoors when it's windy or when you see a lot of yellow dust in the air. You can also wear a mask to help keep the pollen out of your nose and mouth.
