**Spain** In Spain, pollen season starts in January with olive trees. They release pollen until April. In March, birch and hazelnut trees join in. This lasts until May.

In June, grasses start pollinating. This is the worst time for pollen in Spain. It lasts until August. Then, weeds like ragweed and sorrel take over. They pollinate until October.

**Ireland** In Ireland, pollen season begins in February with hazel and alder trees. They pollinate until April. Then, birch and oak trees start releasing pollen. This lasts until June.
