Ireland's Pollen Seasons
In Ireland, tree pollen season starts in March, with oak, birch, and hazel trees producing pollen. This season usually peaks in April and May.
Grass pollen season begins in late May and June, with most grass species producing pollen. This season typically peaks in July.
Weed pollen, from plants like ragweed and nettle, appears in late summer, from August to October.
Peak pollen times are usually early morning. Western Ireland tends to have lower pollen counts than eastern regions, but pollen levels can vary from year to year.
