Switzerland's Pollen Seasons

In Switzerland, tree pollen season starts in March, with early bloomers like alder and hazel. April and May see peak tree pollen from oak, beech, and birch.

Grass pollen season begins in May and June, with peak levels usually in June. This is when many grasses, like timothy grass, release their pollen.

Weed pollen, from plants like ragweed and mugwort, appears in July and August. Some weeds, like ambrosia, can produce pollen into October.

Peak pollen times vary by region and weather. Generally, southern regions have earlier pollen seasons. Peak tree pollen times are usually morning, while grass pollen peaks in late afternoon.
