Berovo, North Macedonia has high pollen counts during spring and summer. Pollen comes from trees, grasses, and weeds. This causes allergies in many people.
In March and April, trees like oak, birch, and hazelnut release pollen. This is the main pollen season in Berovo. Pollen counts are highest at this time.
In May and June, grasses release pollen. This is a smaller pollen season, but still affects some people. Weeds like ragweed also release pollen in late summer.
