Slovenia's Pollen Seasons

In Slovenia, tree pollen season starts in February, peaking in March and April. Alder, hazel, and oak trees release pollen during this period.

Grass pollen season begins in May, peaking in June and July. This is when grasses, like timothy grass, release their pollen into the air.

Weed pollen season occurs from June to October, with ragweed pollen being a significant allergen in Slovenia, especially in the Pannonian region.

Peak pollen times vary by region, but generally, areas with more vegetation, like the Alps and Pannonian regions, experience higher pollen counts.
