Belgium's Pollen Seasons

In Belgium, tree pollen season typically starts in February and lasts until May. Alder, hazel, and yew trees release pollen first, followed by oak, beech, and birch.

Grass pollen season usually begins in May and peaks in June and July. This season can last until September, with most grass types releasing pollen during this period.

Weed pollen, from plants like ragweed and nettle, appears in late summer and early autumn, typically from August to October.

Peak pollen times vary by region, but generally occur in urban areas with more parks and gardens. Flanders tends to have higher pollen counts than Wallonia.
