Pollen count in Zakynthos

Pollen allergies affect many people in Zakynthos, Greece. Symptoms include sneezing, congestion, itchy eyes, and runny nose. Pollen counts are highest during peak seasons.

 

Olive trees pollinate from January to March, causing allergy issues. Grasses and weeds pollinate from May to July, making symptoms worse.

Pine trees pollinate from February to April, adding to the pollen count. During peak seasons, it's best to stay indoors with windows closed.

Zakynthos has higher pollen counts near the mountains, where trees and plants are denser. Coastal areas tend to have lower pollen counts due to sea breezes.
