Pollen count in Trieste

Trieste, Italy has high levels of pollen in the air during certain times of the year. This causes allergic reactions in many people.

 

Trees release pollen in Trieste from February to April. Olive, cypress, and birch trees are the main culprits. Counts are highest in March.

Grasses release pollen from May to July. This is the peak pollen season in Trieste. Pollen counts are highest in June.

Weeds release pollen from July to September. Ragweed and nettle are the main contributors. Pollen counts decrease after September.
