Pollen Count

Pollen count in Rome

Rome, Italy has a Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. Pollen seasons vary but generally peak in spring and fall.

Spring pollen comes from trees like olive, cypress, and pine. Grass pollen is abundant in late spring and early summer.

Autumn pollen is mainly from weeds, such as ragweed and mugwort. Rain showers during autumn help to decrease pollen counts. However, be aware of increased mold growth in damp autumn conditions.
