In Poprad, Slovakia, trees start making pollen in March. It's usually birch trees and hazelnut trees that start first. They make a lot of pollen, so it's a big problem for people who are allergic.

In April, other trees start making pollen too. Alder trees, oak trees, and beech trees all join in. The air is filled with pollen from all these trees. It's a tough time for people who react to pollen.

Grasses start growing in May and June. They make pollen too, but not as much as the trees. It's still a problem for people who are allergic, but not as bad as in March and April.

In July, August, and September, there's less pollen in the air. Most trees and grasses are done making pollen. People who are allergic can finally get some relief!
