Pollen Count

Pollen count in Pescara

Pollen allergies affect many people in Pescara, Italy. During pollen seasons, tiny particles from trees, grasses, and weeds cause allergic reactions. Symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes.

In Pescara, pollen seasons start in February with tree pollen. Olive, birch, and hazelnut trees release pollen until April. Grasses and weeds produce pollen from May to July.

August to September is the second peak pollen season. Weeds like ragweed and sorrel release large amounts of pollen, causing allergy symptoms. Rainy days and wind can increase pollen counts.

To reduce exposure, stay indoors during peak pollen hours (5am-10am). Keep windows closed, use air conditioning, and avoid outdoor activities. Pollen counts are usually lower after rain and on cloudy days.
