Pollen Count

Pollen count in Paphos

Paphos, Cyprus has two pollen seasons. The first season starts in February and ends in May. It's caused by olive, pine, and cypress trees.

The second season starts in August and ends in October. It's caused by grasses and weeds. During these periods, pollen counts are high in the air.

Pollen allergy symptoms include itchy eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. Some people may experience coughing, wheezing, or skin rashes. These symptoms can be uncomfortable.

To reduce exposure, stay indoors on windy days, keep windows closed, and use air purifiers. Wear a mask when outdoors, and avoid activities that stir up pollen.
