Pollen Count

Pollen count in Katowice

Pollen allergies are a common problem in Katowice, Poland. During pollen seasons, trees, grasses, and weeds release tiny particles into the air. These particles cause allergic reactions.

Tree pollen is the main allergen in Katowice from late March to early May. Birch, oak, and hazel trees are the biggest culprits. Symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes.

Grasses release pollen from mid-May to mid-July. This is the worst time for people with grass pollen allergies. Symptoms are the same as during the tree pollen season.

Weeds are the last to release pollen, from late July to early September. Ragweed is the main offender. People with pollen allergies should stay indoors during peak pollen times and avoid activities that stir up pollen.
