In early spring, from March to April, many trees in Dragalj begin to release pollen. Hazel, alder, and willow are among the first. Their pollen can float in the air when the weather turns mild and windy.

In late spring, from April to June, grass pollen becomes common. Meadows and fields around Dragalj can send out lots of pollen. Grasses grow fast in this time of year, so the air may carry more pollen on warm, dry days.

In early summer, from May to July, some weeds start to pollinate. Plantain and nettle are often active then. In drier places, other wild plants also release pollen. This season can last longer when the weather stays hot and sunny.

In late summer and early autumn, from August to October, ragweed and other late weeds may release pollen. In some years, pollen from these plants can stay in the air into October. By late autumn and winter, pollen levels usually drop much lower.
