Belarus's Pollen Seasons
In Belarus, tree pollen season starts in March, with birch and alder pollen appearing first. Oak and beech pollen follow in April and May.
Grass pollen season begins in late May and lasts through July, with peak pollen release usually in June. This affects people with grass pollen allergies.
Weed pollen, mainly from ragweed, appears in late July and August. Some weeds, like mugwort, release pollen in July and September.
Peak pollen times vary by region, but generally occur in cities like Minsk and areas with more trees, grasslands, or weeds. Eastern regions tend to have more tree pollen.
