In Venice, Italy, there are three main pollen seasons. The first one starts in February and lasts until May. This is when trees like oak, birch, and hazel release their pollen.

From May to July, grasses release their pollen. This is the second pollen season. It's an important time for plants to make seeds, but it can be a problem for people who react to pollen.

In the summer, from July to September, weeds like ragweed and nettle release their pollen. This is the third and final pollen season in Venice. The city's canals and waterways can trap pollen, making it harder to escape.

The good news is that Venice's unique water environment helps wash away some of the pollen. Additionally, many plants in Venice are water-loving, which means they produce less pollen than plants in other cities.
