Pollen Count

Pollen count in Solčava

Pollen allergies affect many people in Solčava, Slovenia. They occur when plants release pollen into the air. This causes allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

Trees, grasses, and weeds produce pollen. Each type of plant has its own pollen season. Tree pollen is released in early spring, from March to May.

Grasses release pollen in late spring and early summer, from May to July. Weeds produce pollen in late summer and early fall, from August to October.

Pollen levels are highest on warm, sunny days with little wind. Rain and cold temperatures reduce pollen levels. People with pollen allergies should stay indoors on high-pollen days.
