Trees start producing pollen in late March. Hazel, alder, and birch trees are some of the first ones to pollinate. This lasts until early April.

In April, oak and beech trees join in. They add to the pollen count, making it higher. This can be a tricky time for people who don't like pollen.

Grasses begin pollinating in May and June. This is usually the worst time for pollen in Nové Zámky. It's a good idea to stay indoors when it's windy.

In July and August, pollen counts go down. Only weed pollen is left. It's a relief for most people, as they can finally go outside without worrying about pollen.
