Pollen Count

Pollen count in Drammen

Pollen allergies cause symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes. Tree pollen is the first to appear in early spring, usually in late March. Birch and hazel trees are common culprits.

In April and May, grasses and weeds start to pollinate. This is the peak pollen season in Drammen, with high pollen counts. Stay indoors on windy days to avoid symptoms.

Summer months see lower pollen counts, but some plants still pollinate. Mugwort and sorrel are common allergy triggers in July and August. Avoid outdoor activities during peak pollen hours, usually morning and evening.

In autumn, pollen counts decline, but some trees still pollinate. Check daily pollen forecasts to plan outdoor activities. Wear a mask when outdoors to filter out pollen.
