Georgia's Pollen Seasons
In Georgia, tree pollen season starts in February and peaks in March-April. Oak, cedar, and pine trees are common pollen producers.
Grass pollen season begins in late April and May, with peak levels in June. Bermuda and zoysia grasses are major contributors.
Weed pollen season starts in August and continues through October. Ragweed is a significant producer of allergenic pollen during this period.
Peak pollen times vary, but generally occur between 5am-10am. Regions with more trees, like North Georgia, tend to have higher pollen levels than Southern Georgia.
