Spring pollen starts in Chișoda in late February and grows stronger through April. Trees release much of it first. Alder, hazel, birch, poplar, and willow send pollen into the air. By May, grass pollen also begins to rise.

Updated: 8/10/2026

Early summer is often the busiest pollen time. In June and July, grasses release lots of pollen across fields, roadsides, and gardens. Common plants like ryegrass and timothy are active. Warm, dry days can carry pollen farther through the village.

Late summer brings weed pollen. From July into September, plants such as mugwort and ragweed release pollen. These weeds often grow in open lots, along fences, and near roads. Their pollen can stay in the air for many weeks.

Autumn usually has less pollen in Chișoda. By October and November, most trees, grasses, and weeds are quiet. A few plants may still release small amounts on mild days. Winter from December to January has very little pollen overall.
