Pollen Count

Pollen count in Vidin

Pollen allergy symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and congestion. These occur when pollen from trees, grasses, and weeds enters the air.

Vidin, Bulgaria has two main pollen seasons. The first starts in late March and ends in early May, with tree pollen dominating. Oak, birch, and hazel trees release pollen during this time.

The second pollen season begins in late May and lasts until early July, with grass pollen prevailing. Various grass species release pollen, causing allergic reactions.

Pollen counts are typically highest on warm, windy days and lowest on cool, rainy days. Check daily pollen counts to plan outdoor activities accordingly.
