In early spring, from March to April, trees begin to release pollen in Soroca, Moldova. Birch, alder, hazel, and willow are common pollen sources. The air can feel dusty when these trees bloom and spread their tiny grains.

In late spring, from May to June, many grasses send pollen into the air. Meadow grasses, ryegrass, and timothy are common examples. Pollen levels can rise on warm, dry days when fields and roadsides turn green and start to flower.

In summer, from June to August, some weeds release pollen. Mugwort and plantain are important pollen plants during this time. These plants often grow along roads, in empty lots, and near farms, so their pollen can travel through the town.

In early autumn, from August to September, weed pollen may still be present. Mugwort can continue, and other wild plants may add more pollen to the air. By October, pollen season usually gets much quieter as the weather turns cold.
