Pollen Count

Pollen count in Samarkand

Trees in Samarkand produce pollen from March to May. This is the main pollen season. Trees like birch, oak, and olive release pollen into the air.

From June to August, grasses and weeds release pollen. This is the second pollen season. Plants like wheat, barley, and ragweed contribute to pollen counts.

Pollen counts are highest on windy, sunny days. Rain reduces pollen counts. Pollen is usually released in the morning and peaks at lunchtime.

Pollen can cause symptoms like sneezing, congestion, and itchy eyes. People with pollen allergies should stay indoors during peak pollen hours and use air purifiers.
