Trees start making pollen in Leskovac in February. This is when hazelnut and almond trees bloom. They make a lot of pollen that fills the air.
In March, birch and beech trees join in. They add even more pollen to the air. It's a busy time for trees! They're making seeds, but it's not good for people who react to pollen.
In April, grasses start growing and making pollen. This is the worst time for people who react to pollen. There's so much pollen in the air that it's hard to avoid.
In May, the pollen count goes down. Trees and grasses are done making seeds. The air is cleaner, and people can feel better again. It's a relief!
