Updated: 3/16/2026

Grasses start releasing pollen in late spring. This lasts through May and June. Pollen comes from grass fields and parks. Summer is a bit warmer with more pollen.

In summer, weeds and mugwort release pollen. This usually happens in July and August. Pollen counts can still be high. Many plants release pollen during this time.

In fall, birch trees release pollen again. This happens in September and October. It's not as bad as spring. Winter usually starts in November with little pollen.
