Karabük has four distinct seasons. Spring and summer are the seasons with the most pollen. Trees, grasses, and weeds release pollen into the air.

Updated: 5/26/2026

In March and April, trees like oak, beech, and pine release a lot of pollen. This makes the air filled with tiny yellow particles.

In May and June, grasses and weeds start releasing pollen. The pollen count is usually highest in the morning. People stay indoors on very windy days.

The pollen season ends in July and August. The air starts to clear, and the pollen count decreases. This brings relief to people.
