Pollen Count

Pollen count in Himberg

Himberg, Austria has a continental climate with cold winters and warm summers. This climate leads to high levels of pollen in the air from March to September.

Trees, especially birch and hazel, release pollen from March to May. Grasses and weeds pollinate from May to July. This causes allergic reactions in many people.

Pollen counts are highest on warm, sunny days with little wind. Rainy days bring temporary relief, but pollen levels rise again after the rain ends.

Pollen allergy sufferers experience symptoms like itching eyes, runny noses, and sneezing. They can reduce symptoms by staying indoors, using air purifiers, and wearing masks outdoors.
